Groups, Organizations, Families and Individuals joined One Nature One Community

Almost 150 nature lover joins the One Nature, One Community tree planting activity last October 07, 2012 at Shilan Communal Forest. Almost 500 pine tree seedlings were successfully planted and tree guards provided around the trees.

The weather condition was good for tree planting and parenting. Different organizations, groups, families, and individuals joined the said activity to help mother nature from climate change. The group converged at Shilan Barangay Hall then hiked going to the Communal Forest.

Around 9:30am the group carried the seedlings by the participants from the road going up to the Communal Forest to be planted. But before that the participants was oriented the importance of trees on our environment.

Led by One Nature One Community, DECAT, and Watwatworld Community the group composed of the Local Government of Shilan, Real Sons and Daughter of Ifugao Wow-HICC Inc., Interactive Cordillera, Lao Family, Miss Philippines, Victory Global - Bravehearts, University of the Cordilleras, Baguio National High School, Sumya-ana, Cordillera Bloggers, La Trinidad Shutterbugs, Liwliwa, One Cordillera, Igorotak Singles, Fanias Mountaineering Group, ATAD-A Tree A Day, Bringing Cordillera to the World, Benguet's Finest Lilies Civic Actions Inc.  and several online groups.

Another tree planting activity is set on Ifugao.
